Product Introduction
The EMA600 is an open-architecture electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT) testing module deeply customized for high-temperature and high-altitude industrial non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. It integrates high-temperature-resistant EMAT transducer technology with a compact electronic architecture, and is equipped with complete host PC software and UDP communication protocol. This enables integrators to rapidly equip robots, drones, and automated production lines with high-precision ultrasonic testing capabilities, truly achieving online inspection in high-temperature and high-altitude environments that are difficult to access using traditional methods.
The module can connect to EMAT probes, including conventional EMAT probes, high-temperature EMAT probes, small-diameter probes, etc. It is capable of inspecting materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel. It can measure through coatings; the penetrable thickness depends on the EMAT probe. Currently, standard probes can penetrate approximately 6 mm. For other requirements, customization is available.
The module can be operated via the accompanying host PC software, which supports real-time data reception and processing, data saving in table format, and module configuration. Users may also develop their own host PC software, and we provide a software development demo for this purpose.

    Designed for high-temperature working conditions, paired with specialized heat-resistant probes and signal processing algorithms, it operates stably at workpiece surface temperatures up to +800°C​ without the need for couplant.
  • Modular Design
    Modular architecture with complete electrical interfaces, mechanical dimensions, and underlying SDK. Supports user secondary development for specific scenarios such as pipeline elbow scanning and variable cross-section component inspection, making it easy to integrate into various automated testing platforms.
  • High-Speed Real-Time Communication
    Utilizes UDP communication protocol for data transmission with high communication rates, ensuring real-time data feedback to the host PC with microsecond-level latency during high-dynamic flight or high-speed movement, without frame loss.
  • Adaptive Algorithm
    Addresses common issues in robot/UAV deployment such as vibration, lift-off fluctuation, and non-perpendicular incidence with built-in adaptive algorithms, delivering stable and reliable A-scan signals and thickness data under non-contact, large lift-off conditions.

 

  • Control and Analysis Software
      Comes with feature-rich host PC software supporting measurement parameter settings, data reception and processing, real-time A-scan waveform display, C-scan imaging, and data export.
