[Hefei, March 9, 2026]​ Today, the BEONDT technical team visited the Hefei General Machinery Research Institute for a specialized technical exchange event. During the exchange, the BEONDT technical team presented its latest R&D achievements in the field of high-temperature electromagnetic acoustic testing. BEONDT has now successfully implemented online testing technology capable of operating in environments ranging from 1100°C to 1200°C. This breakthrough effectively addresses the industry-wide challenge of traditional ultrasonic testing failing to operate stably in high-temperature industrial scenarios.
This technology can be widely applied for equipment health monitoring in high-temperature operational conditions within industries such as petrochemicals, power and energy, and metallurgical manufacturing, providing reliable technical assurance for the safe operation of major equipment.
DT2008 Handheld Pulsed Eddy Current Tester: Disruptive Innovation Draws Attention
Addressing common market pain points in current PECT products, such as large size and poor portability, the BEONDT team highlighted their newly developed DT2008 handheld pulsed eddy current tester.
While maintaining a strong detection capability to penetrate up to 200mm of insulation/cladding, this product achieves a miniaturized and lightweight design. This technological breakthrough surprised Researcher Wang from the Hefei General Machinery Research Institute. He commented, "Achieving a handheld form factor while preserving such powerful penetration performance is a remarkable breakthrough in the industry. It represents a new direction for the productization of pulsed eddy current testing technology."
